Non exclusive regional studies were achieved by IFPEN at Departments of Finance and Industry 's request, in order to promote the prospective French areas and to help companies to evaluate the petroleum potential of the French sedimentary basins.
These studies encompass the Metropolitan France as well as some overseas departments and territories.
