IFPEN offers a broad range of software solutions aimed at reducing the time to market of its industrial partners' innovations. It also works to develop software tools designed to reduce vehicle energy consumption.

Engineering software


IFPEN has developed a range of simulation tools to reduce the development cycle time:



  • software to optimize the use of experimental resources marketed by  D2T :

    - test bench supervision (Morphée),


    - model transfer platform, from the design office to tests (xMOD),

    - calibration (ICE²)


Software for connected vehicles


IFPEN offers products and services to reduce energy consumption and optimize fleet use:

  • Energy management and driving assessment web services for vehicle fleets, including electric vehicles (recharging optimization/scheduling).

o  A modeling-based approach, adapted for a range of products to reduce the development cycle time
o Multi-field expertise for software product design:
     - from combustion simulation to address the challenges in the field of engine design,

Research for enterprises

IFPEN Transports Energie has been part of the Carnot Institutes network since 2006.
